Tom Fool is the solo project of Rick Webster (formerly of Unkle Bob). The first release entitled ‘The Photograph EP’ is co-written and produced by Andy Gill (Gang of Four) and features backing vocals from Eddi Reader.  Check the website here

We are very sorry to announce that we have decided to call it a day with Unkle Bob. This has not been an easy decision and we have been trying to find many different ways to make it work for many months now. We’ve had so many amazing experiences over the last 9 years and met the most incredible people who have helped and supported us on our crazy journey.

We really want to thank all our family, friends, previous band members, management and team who have worked with us over the years, and most importantly our fans who have kept us going all this time. It is a sad day but we hope to have left behind some music that people can continue to enjoy.

As a farewell token we have decided to release the very first Unkle Bob recordings that were made back in 2003. Very few people have a copy of these recordings which were all done live at TCR Studios, Barnard Castle. You can preview the album on the youtube video (below).
